We manufacture custom waterproof dry bags, backpacks, totes and cooler bags for brands, distributors and corporate buyers — built to spec, from MOQ 500 pcs, with SGS-verified output of 200,000 pieces a month.
Custom waterproof bags are purpose-built, brand-branded carrying products whose fabric, seams, closures, dimensions and decoration are engineered to keep contents dry in rain, spray, submersion and wet environments. At QUANZHOU JUNYUAN BAGS we specialise exclusively in customised waterproof soft goods — not reselling stock. Our main 4,950 m² facility runs 7 production lines with 149 machines and 137 staff, producing up to 200,000 sealed bags per month under a SGS-verified QC system certified to ISO 9001:2015. Whether you need 500 branded dry bags for a launch or 50,000 units for a retail chain, the same factory line, the same QC protocol and the same lead-time discipline apply.
Buyers often assume "custom waterproof bag" means picking a stock item and printing a logo. We offer that — but our ODM capability runs much deeper. A fully customised bag can specify every structural variable: base fabric (500D–1000D PVC, TPU-laminated nylon or recycled RPET), film thickness (0.5 mm – 1.2 mm), sealing method (high-frequency weld, hot-air weld or seam tape), closure (roll-top, IPX8 waterproof zipper, roll-and-buckle), capacity (from 1L phone pouch to 60L expedition duffel), hardware (Duraflex or ITW-style buckles, custom webbing colours), pockets, reflectivity, and decoration (screen print, heat-transfer, UV print, embroidery, woven or leather patch).
The table below summarises the specification ranges we routinely build to, so your RFQ can be precise on the first round.
| Variable | Options we produce | Typical buyer driver |
|---|---|---|
| Base fabric | 500D/600D/840D/1000D PVC mesh; TPU-laminated 420D/840D nylon; RPET recycled TPU | Weight vs. abrasion vs. sustainability |

| Sealing | High-frequency (RF) weld; hot-air weld; seam-taped stitched seams | IPX7 vs IPX8, production speed |
| Closure | Roll-top + buckle; roll-top + quick-release; IPX8 waterproof zipper; hybrid | Usage: boating vs. urban commute |
| Capacity | 1L – 60L (phone pouch to expedition duffel) | Use-case and packing list |
| Waterproof class | IPX6 (splash), IPX7 (30 min / 1 m submersion), IPX8 (continuous submersion) | Defined per IEC 60529 |
| Decoration | Screen print, heat-transfer film, UV DTF, embroidery, woven/leather patch, deboss | Logo colour count, budget, feel |
| MOQ | 500 pcs standard; 300 pcs for select reorders | Launch stage, cash flow |
We focus the factory on three high-volume, high-margin custom lines that match what international buyers actually search for. Each has its own dedicated pillar page with full engineering and decoration detail.
Our output is audited rather than self-declared. SGS verifies the monthly production figure of 200,000 pieces; our quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and our social audit is amfori BSCI. Finished goods additionally carry CE, CPC (children's product certificate for youth lines) and RoHS-compliant materials. Waterproof performance is tested in-house to IEC 60529 (IP rating) hydrostatic-head and roll-over immersion protocols before bulk approval.

Our order book is balanced across four buyer types, which is why our lines stay flexible and our QC is battle-tested:
When you buy through a trading company, the factory you quote is not the factory that ships. Price drifts, samples are brokered, and QC gaps appear in translation. Buying directly from our 4,950 m² facility means you speak to the engineers who run the RF welders, approve the fabric batch and sign the pre-shipment inspection. We control tooling, decoration, packaging and container loading under one roof, which is how we hold a 35–50 day bulk lead time while competitors quote 60–90. You can read the full comparison on our advantages page, or see the workflow on the custom process page.
A waterproof bag is only as good as its seams. Fabric itself can be coated, but needle holes from conventional sewing will leak under submersion. That is why our sealed lines use no needle penetration across the load-bearing water barrier: panels are joined by high-frequency (RF) welding, which heats the PVC/TPU molecules internally and fuses two layers into one monolithic seam, or by hot-air wedge welding for TPU-laminated nylon. Both methods produce a seam that passes continuous submersion to IPX8. Where a structural stitched seam is required (shoulder-strap anchors webbing to a load-spreading patch), we over-tape the stitched seam with a 20 mm hot-bonded TPU strip so the needle holes are encapsulated. All sealed units undergo a submergence or roll-over pressure test before they leave the floor; we reject any unit with bubbling, whitening or pinholes along the weld line.
Choosing the right laminate is the single biggest lever on unit cost, weight and feel. We stock three families and will recommend one based on your target retail price point, target audience and certification requirements.
| Material | Typical weight | Feel / look | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| PVC-mesh (500D–1000D) | Heavier, stiff | Glossy, budget look | Entry dry bags, beach totes, promotional gifts |
| TPU-laminated nylon (420D/840D) | Light, supple | Matte, premium hand | Outdoor brands, backpacks, hiking lines |
| RPET recycled TPU | Light | Matte, sustainable story | Eco-brands, ESG-led retailers |
| Coated ripstop nylon | Very light | Soft, packable | Stuff sacks, compression bags, travel organisers |
For buyers targeting the EU and California, material chemical compliance is non-negotiable: we can supply fabrics tested against ECHA REACH and, for US-bound consumer goods, California Prop 65 limits. Food-contact adjacent uses (cooler liners) are quoted against FDA food-contact guidance.
Decoration is where a stock bag becomes a branded product. We run five processes in-house and will select based on logo colour count, fabric texture, order volume and per-unit decoration budget.
You can compare these in depth on our printed waterproof bags pillar and private-label page.
Every bulk order runs a three-point QC: incoming fabric roll inspection (width, weight, film thickness, colour under D65 light), in-line weld testing at 2-hour intervals on the production line, and final AQL 2.5 random sampling on the finished cartons before container loading. We photograph the loaded container and share the report with you. For buyers who demand independent oversight, we can arrange third-party inspection through SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek at the buyer's request. This discipline is why our warranty return rate sits below 1.8% across 2024–2025 shipments.
Units are packed 1 pc per polybag, master carton 20–40 pcs depending on size. Custom retail hangtags, instruction cards, barcode stickers and mailer boxes are all available. We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to 100+ countries, which means you pay one CIF/DDP price and we handle export declaration, ocean or air freight, destination duties and last-mile to your warehouse. HS classification is prepared under the WCO HS Nomenclature so your customs entry is clean.
Buyers new to custom production sourcing often underestimate the sampling loop. Our process is compressed but not rushed; below is the realistic schedule for a 1,000-piece reorder-style project.
| Stage | Working days | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| RFQ & tech-pack feedback | 1–2 | Quote, spec sheet, target price |
| Sampling & revisions | 6–10 | Physical sample + photos |
| Sample approval & deposit | 1–2 | Confirmed spec, PI |
| Material prep & cutting | 7–10 | Fabric batch approved under D65 |
| Welding & assembly | 15–20 | In-line QC every 2 hours |
| Decoration, packing & AQL | 5–8 | Pre-shipment report |
| Sea freight DDP to warehouse | 25–40 | Tracking + duty prepaid |
Outdoor retail buyers increasingly ask for recycled content. We offer RPET fabric made from post-consumer plastic bottles and TPU films that can be certified under the Textile Exchange Global Recycled Standard (GRS) on request. Our facility runs reduced-water dye processes and solar-assisted hot water for the fabrication area. If your retail channel requires a certified environmental system, we can scope ISO 14001-aligned documentation against ISO 14001 as part of the project pack.
Our standard MOQ is 500 pieces per SKU / colourway. For reorders and select simpler styles we can work to 300 pcs. Sampling is separate and always starts at 1–2 pcs.
6–10 working days for a first physical sample based on your reference or tech pack. The first round of sample revisions is free.
Yes — screen print, heat-transfer/DTF, UV print, embroidery and sewn woven/leather patches are all available in-house. See our logo / private-label page.
IPX6 splash-proof, IPX7 (30 minutes at 1 m submersion) and IPX8 (continuous submersion), tested to IEC 60529. Roll-top sealed bags are the default IPX8 build.
Yes. We deliver DDP to 100+ countries with duties and clearance prepaid, so you pay one landed cost and receive the goods at your warehouse.
Send us your reference sample, a hand sketch, or even a product link from a competitor. Our design team turns it into a tech pack within 2 working days and a physical sample in 6–10 working days. There is no charge for the first round of sample revisions. Browse the full custom product range, review client case outcomes, or jump straight to the quote request form.
Our standard MOQ is 500 pieces per style, which gives the production team enough volume to control material cutting, welding settings, decoration, and final inspection consistently. You can begin with one approved physical sample before placing the bulk order. Sampling normally takes 6–10 working days, while bulk production takes 35–50 days after sample approval and receipt of the deposit. Send your target capacity, material, color, logo, quantity, and destination to service@junyuanbags.com for an accurate quotation.
A first physical sample takes 6–10 working days after the specification and artwork are confirmed. Once you approve that sample and pay the deposit, bulk production normally requires 35–50 days, depending on quantity, material availability, decoration, and tooling. The schedule includes cutting, RF or hot-air welding, assembly, branding, packing, and AQL 2.5 final inspection. Shipping time is separate and depends on whether you choose FOB Xiamen or DDP delivery to your warehouse.
Quality control starts with checks on fabric width, weight, film thickness, and color before cutting. During production, sample welds are tested at 2-hour intervals, and finished bags are checked for seam integrity, hardware function, dimensions, and decoration. Final cartons are inspected to AQL 2.5 before shipment. Our SGS-verified production facility has operated since 2014 and covers 4,950 m². Independent inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek can also be arranged when a buyer requires third-party verification.
Standard payment is T/T 30/70: a 30% deposit confirms the order and the remaining 70% is paid before shipment after you review the pre-shipment report. Buyers with their own forwarder can use FOB Xiamen. We also provide DDP delivery to 100+ countries, covering export declaration, freight, destination duties, customs clearance, and final delivery to the stated address. The quotation identifies the selected Incoterm so product cost and landed logistics are clear before production begins.
Send the bag type, intended use, capacity or dimensions, target waterproof level, material preference, logo file, Pantone colors, order quantity, packaging requirements, and destination country. A reference sample, photo, sketch, or product link is also useful. We manufacture formats ranging from 1L pouches to 60L duffels, so dimensions matter more than a general product name. Email the brief to service@junyuanbags.com; the team can then recommend construction, confirm the 500-piece-per-style MOQ, and prepare a costed specification.
Send your spec or reference sample — get a factory quote within 24 hours. MOQ from 500 pcs, samples in 6-10 working days.
